Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How may I donate to you for a reading?

  • Paypal: @marmeesfriends
  • CashApp: $thespiritlady
  • Zelle: circleofspirit@gmail.com

Q: What do you do with the donations?

Use part to supplement my income and donate part to some charities I'm rather partial to, especially those dealing with animals and the homeless.

Q: Why do you call yourself the Spirit Lady?

Once, at an expo, someone referred to me as "the Spirit Lady."  I don't ever recall not being visited by spirits and angels or seeing ghosts -- my family referred to it as "the sight," so I thought it was rather fitting and have used it since.

Q: Is it weird to live like that that?  See ghosts all the time?

Well, since I don't know anything different, it's actually normal for me.  I have learned to block it when I need to in order to have some privacy and peace.  For instance, it is rather creepy to have a spirit or ghost pop in when you're in the midst of a shower, so I've instituted a "No spirits in my bathroom" rule.  When I'm in the bathroom, I block.  Plus, my guardians block for me, as well, when I need them to.

Q: Are you afraid you'll burn in hell because you work with spirits?  Aren't they really demons just trying to trick you?

No, I'm not concerned about my immortal soul.  My spirit guides have shared with me what it's like and what will happen when I pass, and it helps that I've already died once and seen the other side.  I know what's there.  Death doesn't frighten me.  As for the spirits I work with being demons, well I just don't buy that.  The two most common are my great-grandmother and an angelic being.  If either of those were demons in disguise I believe there might have been some sort of clue in the last 60 years.  Also, my spirit guides have never said or asked me to do anything bad.  All they've ever done is share information to help others.

Q: You say you're disabled.  What's wrong with you?  Why don't you work?

I was born with a double heart defect, which went undiagnosed until I had a stroke at the age of 39.  (Numerous doctors missed it.  Most thought I was a hypochondriac.)  After the initial stroke, my health quickly declined, and I required open heart surgery. I've since had two more strokes and a heart attack.  I also live with lupus, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and three weird sleep disorders.  I'm now disabled and unable to work.  I live on disability, and believe me, no one gets rich on disability.  I actually miss working.  I had a fabulous career in the music / television industry, and I would go back to it in a heartbeat, but I'm just not able.  Had my heart issues been diagnosed and treated when I was young, I would probably be much healthier and still working.

Q: You told me something, but it didn't come true.  Does that mean you're wrong?

Not necessarily.  I share with you what the spirit guides share with me, and that information is only accurate at the moment it is shared.  As humans, we have free will, which entitles us to change our minds, and therefore our paths, at any time.  You may have made the slightest change since the information was shared, but that change was enough to alter the outcome.
